Course Overview:

This course will provide an overview of audio basics, focusing on basic signal flow and the fundamental tools used in recording. Topics will include a brief history and overview of recording, recording basics, the audio map, introduction to microphone types, basics of digital audio, etc. We will explore these topics with hands-on practice, participants will learn to set up and operate basic audio equipment, troubleshoot common issues, and understanding the principles of creating balanced, high-quality sound. This course will be ideal for beginners interested in audio production, live sound and or music production.
